Saturday June 9, 2018 - Email this article to a friend

Paralympic ski champion Menna Fitzpatrick & her guide Jen Kehoe are made MBEs in the Queen's Birthday Honours. Others in snowsports are recognised.

The pair won Team GB's only gold medal at the games in Pyeongchang in March, taking the visually-impaired slalom title to add to two silvers and a bronze.

They became Britain's most decorated Winter Paralympians.

Fitzpatrick, who at 20 is the youngest person on the Birthday Honours list, carried the flag at the Pyeongchang closing ceremony.

Yarnold is upgraded from MBE to become an OBE.

The 29-year-old became the first Briton to successfully defend a Winter Olympics title when she took gold in Pyeongchang in Feburary.
