Sex sells skiing, again & again
Friday November 20, 2009 - Email this article to a friend
Some female ski instructors have taken their kit off for a new calendar. They are not the first ones to use their bodies to sell a product.
It started when a group of women from the Women's Institute took their clothes off for a calendar. It got world-wide publicity, rose plenty of money and was even made into a successful film, Calendar Girls.
Last season the male skier, Alain Baxter, stripped off to try to raise money for his Olympic bid.
Now there is a new calendar, shot in Austria, that is about to come out and will be featured soon in Playboy magazine.
27 year old, Julija Stojadinovic, who works in Davos has just a single ski to cover her modesty up against an avalanche breaker.

Some of the models apparently complained of the cold, which seems a bit odd to us here at PlanetSKI. If you agree to pose semi-naked in the snow, well, it's going to be cold.
Hopefully they were well paid for their troubles.
There is no doubt it that sex sells. 2 out of the 5 most popular ever stories on Planet SKI involved the subject.
Here's one and here's the other.
