A ski with suspension
Thursday November 26, 2009 - Email this article to a friend
A PlanetSKI reader has just drawn our attention to this new ski. The ex-British ski racer, Martin Bell, endorses them.
The UFOria and the UFOria XA skis have been 2 years in the design and testing and should be released in the USA in 2011.
They have a special suspension system on them which makes skiing easier and less tiring. Apparently.
According to the PR blurb "The Antons make carving effortless and skiers report less fatigue on the knees and body. In addition, independent front and rear progressive flex adjusters give the UFOria XA and the limited edition Carbon Series multiple personalities. Dial in a soft flexing cruiser or rip it up with a stiff GS racer."
It will be interesting to see what they are like.
They dont come cheap though; UFOria XA with bindings will cost $2,990 (£1,800) or the UFOria standard with bindings for $2,490 (£1,500).
