EasyJet claims record Xmas
Thursday December 10, 2009 - Email this article to a friend
Geneva is one of the top 10 destinations for the airline as skiers and snowboarders head to the slopes over the festive period.
A record 900,000 British travellers are to fly with EasyJet over the Christmas and it expects a 6% rise on last year.
Some of the top destinations are Geneva, Edinburgh, Malaga, Barcelona and Faro.
"Getting away from the doom and gloom of the recession has proven to be a bigger incentive then ever before and it's clear that people want to spend quality time with their family and friends," says the airline's general manager, Paul Simmons.
Stop charging for skis! For skiers and snowboarders easyJet remains one of the most popular airlines to use.
But we just wish here at PlanetSKI they wouldn't charge so much for our ski and snowboard equipment.
Or indeed charge anything.
