Still checking lift tickets at 80

Sandy Murray celebrated his birthday in the way he knows best; by going to work and helping people ski.
Sandy has worked part-time as a "liftie" at Cairngorm and still skis regularly at the resort as well as abroad.
Before working in the lift station he was a member of the Fleet Air Arm, time-share salesman, hotelier, lemonade factory proprietor and hot air balloon owner.
He has lived in Aviemore since 1985 and when not working enjoys rally-driving, flying model planes and trading shares on the internet.
Happy Birthday!
Today (Wednesday) the resort reports "awesome conditions" with over 1,000 skiers and snowboarders up on the hill.
