Fancy living inside an ice cube?
Thursday December 31, 2009 - Email this article to a friend
No, neither do we but an Israeli man is doing just that to try to break a world record. Some people do strange things.
If Hezi Din emerges from the 8 ton ice cube at midnight on New Year's Eve in tel Aviv, then will have been in an ice cube for 64 hours and will claim the record.
The 29 year old aims to beat the previous record by 6 hours, but he does have any idea of how odd what he is doing is.
"My aim is that people on their way home from a night out will say, 'come, let's go to the square and see if that looney is in his ice.'" he told the media.
For a video of the event see this story on the BBC.
