Learn for free
Wednesday January 20, 2010 - Email this article to a friend
This week beginners can learn for free in dozens of resorts across the mountains. Free ski hire, free ski pass, free lessons. There's a similar offer in March too.
The Fresher's Ski week was launched last year and proved such a success it is being done again.
The deal is simple.
650 genuine first time skiers or snowboarders book a holiday with participating tour operators and they get the lessons and all associated costs for free.
The first batch of novices are out this week and another week runs on March 20th - 27th.
Crystal, First Choice, Inghams, Neilson and Thomson are supporting the idea in 30 resorts across Austria, France, Switzerland, Norway, Finland and Andorra.
The idea
As easy as it looks is supported by The Association of Snow Sports Countries.
Be warned though - if you go you may well start a rather expensive habit and a love affair for life.
Skiing and snowboarding is highly addictive!
