The British Olympic Association will be unveiling the names later today of those athletes representing Great Britain in the Winter Olympics next month in Vancouver. It will be good to concentrate on the sport after recent stories of financial problems and poor weather.
The team will be revealed at 6 0'clock tonight and PlanetSKI will bring you details as the clock strikes 6.
We are not expecting any real surprises with Chemmy Alcott and Ed Drake expected to be the top names in alpine skiing with Zoe Gillings and Lelsey McKenna there too in their respective snowboarding events.
The names of the bob sleigh team and luge, where we have good medal chances, will also be unveiled.
It follows the recent news that Snowsport GB, the governing body, is under severe financial pressures and there was talk of it going bankrupt on the eve of the Olympics.
Drake on podium in Europa CupMeanwhile over in Canada the company that owns Whistler/Blackcombe, where many of the skiing events are taking place, is also in difficulties. We reported on it here and the resort may actually fall out of Intrawest's hands when the Olympics are on.
There are also some problems with the weather and Cypress Mountain is bare and organisers are considering using helicopters to bring in snow.
But this evening we will be concentrating on what really matters to most of us - the sport.
So, if you want to see who is in the British team then check back on PlanetSKI later this evening for a look at the names and an analysis of their chances.
