Miller to ski 'em all
Tuesday February 9, 2010 - Email this article to a friend

Excellent news! Bode Miller has announced he will ski all 5 disciplines at the Olympics. We can't wait.

Now we are trying to be impartial here at PlanetSKI but Bode Miller is still about the most exciting ski racer around in our opinion.

We have followed his winter closely from his training in Saas-Fee when we saw him playing tennis, to his results on the World Cup Circuit.

So the news that he will ski in all 5 racing categories is good news indeed.

He is one of the best skiers in history, having won two World Cup overall titles and has victories in all five ski racing events; downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom and combined.

The former bad-boy of American skiing made headlines at the last Olympics more for his partying than his skiing and in 2007 he split from the US team and went on his own.

Now though he has been re-habilitated into the team and is focusing purely on his skiing.

However this season he has hardly set the scoreboard alight; but we are looking out for him in the Downhill and the Super-combined.

Anyone else looking forward to it all? We are.
