Snowboarder survives avalanche

He had his head camera on at the time and it is a chilling reminder of what can happen and the dangers that are present off piste. Check out the video.
It is of poor quality but this snowboarder had a very lucky escape this week when he was caught up in an avalanche in the High Tatra mountains, in Slovakia.
A PlanetSKI reader spotted it on You Tube and sent the link to us wondering if it was worth showing to other PlanetSKI readers on the site.
We reckon it is.
