Olympic legacy

No, not the Norwegian curling team but rather their pants. The bright, harlequin patterned trousers became the fashion talk of the Games and now have their own Facebook page.

The Facebook page was set as a bit of a laugh for a handful of people.

It was establised by Tony D'Orazio who is a curler himself and it has proved rather popular.

The makers of the trousers, Loudmouth Golf, has now offered him money to put a link on the Facebook page.

D'Orazio has reportedly offered to donate a portion of the proceeds to an American charity in honour of Katie Beck, a curling hopeful who died of cancer at the age of 24.

See the Facebook page here.

The company, does rather surprisingly, make golf wear rather than curling wear and claims to have received widespread interest after the Norwegian curlers arrrived in its attire.

The company was set up by Scott Woodworth who wanted to wear loud and colourful pants while out on the fairways, but as he couldn't find any to buy he decided to make his own.

The trousers helped the Norwegian curlers to silver medal position.
