Cover up of naked snow statue
Friday March 5, 2010 - Email this article to a friend
This was not just any old statue but a copy of the Venus de Milo. It was built by a family in New Jersey, USA, after all the recent snow the area has had.
However the nude Venus de Milo apparently offended some people so the police ordered the family to knock it down or give it some clothes.
See this story on the BBC for further details and pictures of the creation.
The pictures show the Venus de Milo before and after the cover up was ordered.
