The X Games is far more than just a skiing and snowboarding competition. It's a way of life. So says the resort director of Tignes who we have been speaking to. We have a round up of the results too.
It is a massive coup for the French resort of Tignes to host The X Games.
It is the biggest event for this type of skiing and snowboarding after The Olympics and it has never been held outside of the USA.
The PlanetSKI content editor, James Cove, caught up with resort director of Tignes, Sebastien Merignargues, to see how the resort managed to get the competition, how it's all going and what it means for the French resort.
Apparently this is just the start.
