It's changeable weather - Krystyna Chauncey, The Swiss Alps

One minute it's boiling hot with the snow melting at an alarming rate, the next minute it is chucking it down with fresh powder.
In the morning it was suncream on and trying to get as much skiing in before it all turned to slush.
At the bottom of one lift in Verbier, at 2000m, a pair of water skis would have come in rather handy.
See the video below.
Then in the afternoon we headed over to Tsoumaz, at just 1500m, where thick flakes of powder snow suddenly started falling.
You may have heard the birds singing in the video above.
I wonder what they made of it all.
