Will Bode race again?
Tuesday April 27, 2010 - Email this article to a friend

He has been speaking to the US media, and guess what? He may retire or he may not. No-one knows least of all the man himself.

The maverick ski racer, Bode Miller, has been reflecting on life and contemplating his future.

To race or not to race? That is the question.

But he says he won't give a definite answer until August and the pre-season US training camps.

He had a successful Winter Olympics winning gold in the super-combined, silver in the super-G and bronze in the downhill.

He re-joined the US Team last Autumn.

Here on PlanetSKI we reported on his Olympic triumphs and his decision to re-join the American Team.

At 32-years old he is getting on a bit, but he is still the most successful male skier the US has ever produced and is always one for pulling out surprises.

He has won 32 World Cup races and it would be a brave man that would bet on him not having more victories in him.

In one interview though he hinted that the things that made him quit the US Team, and go on his own way for 2 seasons, are still present.

Currently he is relaxing with his daughter and has been attending a few charity events including those for skiers with disabilities.

He often posts news of his plans on his facebook page, but at the moment it is blank.

So, will he race again?

Who knows, but we certainly hope so.
