The Union, Unite, has won its appeal against a decision to block the strike. Monday's decision to ban the strike was based on a technicality.
Strike action could now happened next Monday although the union is still calling for a negotiated settlement.
It represents cabin crew.
A court had supported BA by judging that a technicality over spoilt ballot papers meant the latest series of four five day walk-outs could not go ahead.
But that decision has been overturned today (Thursday).
The panel of 3 judges ruled 2-1 in favour of the union.
The Lord Chief Justice, Lord Judge, and Lady Justice Smith upheld Unite's appeal. The Master of the Rolls, Lord Neuberger, rejected it.
The union said it was delighted with the ruling and BA expressed its disappointment.
The first strike was due to start on Tuesday, ending on May 22nd. Three further strikes are planned to begin on May 24th, May 30th and June 5th.
