Charlie Sheen ski court case postponed

The US actor was in court in Aspen accused of assault against his wife. It's alleged he threatened her with a knife at their chalet in the Colorado ski resort last Xmas.
The 44-year old actor had been expected to plead guilty to a reduced charge against his wife, Brooke Muller.
He allegedly threatened her with a knife last Christmas Day.

Aspen is the ski resort of choice for many US celebrities.
The Hollywood actor is the star of Two and a Half Men and a series of successful box office movies,
He was expected to serve 4 weeks in jail and was hoping to be allowed out on day release to help at a local theatre as we reported earlier this week.
Aspen: Celebrity ski hauntHowever the 2 sides in the case failed to reach agreement and the court case has been re-scheduled for next month.
"There were a couple of minor glitches that we were unable to work out. Time was running out during the course of the day," said his lawyer, Yale Galanter, outside the court after the hearing.
"We certainly didn't want to force the issue, because, in our business, it's very important that clients make informed, voluntary, knowledgeable decisions, and we decided to postpone it until another day."
Sheen wore a rather bizarre woolly hat to go with his suit and tie that got the photographers snapping and the tabloids and celebrity web sites talking.

The couple married in 2008 and have 1-year old twin sons.
It is unclear if they are still living together after the alleged incident.
