Japanese resort reports 18m

Niseko in Japan said its snowfall last winter was a little above average. If 18m can be called average!
The resort is apparently the second snowiest resort in the world after Mt Baker in Washington State, USA.
It says that 18m of snow fell last winter.
The resort is already planning ahead for the busiest part of its 2010-11 season; The Chinese New Year 2011 when the resort gets booked up.
The dates are January 29th to February 8th 2011.
