The event will take place next March with many of the world's top skiers and snowboarders competing against each other. Who knows, we may even see Shaun White this time.
Tignes hosted the first X Games to be held outside the USA last season and it is back next year.
66,200 people turned out to watch and it was relayed on TV across the globe.
It proved to be a big success and the UK even won a gold medal in the snowboard slopestyle courtesy of Jenny Jones.
Jenny Jones winsPlanetSKI was invited to the event and we reported on it here and made a series of videos that can be seen at the bottom of this article.
The X Games takes place next March 16-18 with 126 athletes already confirmed.
The X Games features the newer events such as skier/snowboarder cross, slopestyle and the super-pipe.
It is also quite a party.

Some of these events were the success stories of the last Winter Olympics in Vancouver and have given a new lease of life and direction to the mainstream snowsports events as we have already reported.
PlanetSKI hopes to be in Tignes again next winter but in the meantime check out some of the videos we made at the event last season.
Here's some action from the Super Pipe.
The event though is about much more than the sport according to the resort director of Tignes, Sebastien Merignargues.
And here's a video of Jenny Jones as she takes gold.
Roll on next March......
