Want to buy a ski resort?
Tuesday July 6, 2010 - Email this article to a friend

If so Brian Head in Utah has just been reduced in price. It'll now set you back $29m, a saving of almost $6m

The price has come down as there are no buyers.

The resort is perhaps not as famous as its neighbouring resorts in Utah -  Park City, Deer Valley, Snowbird, Alta and even little Sundance.

But for your money you will get 2 mountains, 53 runs, 9 lifts and 640 skiable acres.

There is also potential for property development and gold and other sports.

The long time owner, Jim Tree, died 2 years ago and left the resort to his family.

They say they have no interest in running a ski resort so have put it on the market.

If it does not sell it is expected to remain open next winter.

We reported on its initial offer for sale on PlanetSKI  back in April.
