2 British climbers perish in Alps

They were climbing in the Chamonix Valley when they fell to their deaths. They may have been hit by falling rocks and were dislodged.
One person was a woman in her 20's and the other a 38-year old man.
They were attempting to climb the Dent du Geant when the accident happened.
Other people in the area heard their screams and called in the rescue services.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is now underway and next of kin have been informed.
Their names have not yet been released.
The accident happened on Monday.
