Charge up your mobile while skiing
Thursday July 29, 2010 - Email this article to a friend
What's the difference between an expensive gimmick and a usefully piece of technology? Tricky one.
The latest device we have heard about allows you to charge your mobile phone while skiing.
You may need to put the charger and phone into a back pack though due to its size.
It's also probably better to do it in the bumps rather than cruising on blue runs as well.
The vibrations produced as a result of skiing apparently produce enough kinetic energy to charge up your phone.
We are not sure though how long it takes.
On the other hand you could just plug your phone into a charger overnight from the comfort of your hotel or chalet.
For more on the new device see here.
It might have a good use though if you are venturing far from the beaten track.
