3 arrested altering ski passes

One Englishman and 2 Australians were caught forging ski passes in New Zealand. They were caught in separate incidents on a lift pass crack down on the South Island
They had their ski passes taken away and they have been banned form the ski areas of Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Mt Hutt for two years.
Police sad that lift passes were sold to individuals only.
They warned that anyone altering a pass can also face further charges of altering a document that carries a maximum prison term of 10 years.
The resorts have re-iterated that people should not break the rules and regulations with regard to the use of passes
They said that staff will continue to be vigilant against fraud.
