BA opens new ski route
Wednesday August 18, 2010 - Email this article to a friend

It will go from London City airport to Chambery in France. It runs from December 18th until the end of March.

Chambery gives access to a number of resorts in both France and Switzerland.

The service will run 4 times a week.

La Plagne, Val d'Isere, Les Arcs and the resorts of the Portes du Soleil are just some of the ski areas that can be accessed.

"Our schedule is ideally set up to give our customers the opportunity to spend a long weekend, a full week, or even longer, skiing on some of the world's best slopes and resorts," said the BA CityFlyer commercial manager, Luke Hayhoe.

City airport is a particular favourite of ours here at PlanetSKI as it is small, efficient and unlike many of the other monster airports that have altered flying.

In his blog the PlanetSKI content editor has be-moaned the current experience of flying, though he rather likes London City airport.

Fares start from £59 one-way including taxes.
