The Swiss resort has won the prize for the best European Ski Resort at the British Travel Awards. Val d'Isere came second and Chamonix third. Which is your favourite resort?
A selection of ski resorts were nominated by a panel of experts and then the public voted. More than 700,000 votes were cast in the competition.
1,000 travel experts were at the awards ceremony earlier this month in London to hear who the winners were.
In the category of best European ski resort St Moritz came out on top.
The awards are perhaps the most important within the British travel industry.
"The British Travel Awards is the largest awards programme in the UK, created to reward travel companies, with the winning accolade being the benchmark for excellence when it comes to finding out who really is the best in the business of travel for the UK consumer. This year the competition was fierce and St. Moritz is to be congratulated on its achievement," said the British Travel Awards' chief executive, Lorraine Barnes Burton.
"We are very proud to receive this recognition from our British guests especially because St. Moritz has such a long tradition of hosting British visitors," said Ariane Ehrat, managing director of Engadin St. Moritz.
Skiing in St Moritz
The Swiss resort was where winter tourism started in 1865 when a local hotelier encouraged British aristocratic summer visitors back in the winter. He said if they didn't enjoy the experience then he would refund all their costs.
He didn't have to.

Zermatt. It's impossible to beat but I wish the lift pass was cheaper.
