The Italian resort hosted the Freeride World Tour for the first time. Last year it stepped in to help when Chamonix was unable to hold the competition now it has a round in its own right. Check out the video of the event.
Richard Amacker from Switzerland and the American, Ralph Backstrom, won the ski and snowboard events respectively.
Amacker was the last rider down and chose an original line to the left hand side of the face.
"I had a great day. The snow was epic, I gained a lot of air on my jumps and landed all three really cleanly," said the 23-year old.
In the men's snowboard contest Backstrom took a line to the right.
"I'm absolutely thrilled - the conditions were great for high-speed airs. I rode my preferred line and stayed fast and fluid throughout," said Backstrom.

For Courmayeur, in The Aosta Valley, the weather and conditions could hardly have been better.
Blue sky and plenty of powder.
The Aosta Valley has the well-known resorts of Courmayeur and Cervinia and the lesser know ones of Pila and La Thuille.
Here at PlanetSKI we hope to visiting the area later this season to see what they have to offer British skiers and snowboarders.
