Austria tops 'good sex' league

Couples in Austria topped the good sex league with 80% of men and 63% of women saying they were enjoying extremely or very satisfying sex.

The study is due to appear in the journal, The Archives of Sexual Behaviour, and questioned 27,000 people aged 40 to 80 in 29 countries.

The research focused on middle-aged people.

The lowest levels of satisfaction were record in the more male-dominated societies of the Middle East and Asia.

Austrian attractionsSpain followed Austria into second place.

In every country, except Algeria and Malaysia, men were more likely to report they were happy with their sex lives.

Professor Laumann, from the research team said: "Women are very sensitive to the quality of a relationship and when those things aren't in good order they're not interested.”

75% of men say they always have an orgasm, whereas for woman it’s 26%.  However 45% of men say they believe their partners always have an orgasm.

Um? What is it with men?!

The study was not able to reveal exactly why the Austrians appear to have the best sex lives of any nation, but apparently they do.
