Some of us may need to, but not many. It's the latest bit of protective gear on the market.
Apparently the support provided by this product may save a skier or snowboarder from being permanently paralyzed in the event of a bad fall.
The Torso Armor Jacket is being made by Swedish company POC.
POC designs, engineers and markets personal protective gear for alpine skiers internationally.
It's self-proclaimed mission is "to revolutionize the degree of protection in alpine protective gear and thereby prevent injuries and save lives.'
Here at PlanetSKI we reckon it would make a cool trooper outfit for any subsequent Star Wars films.
