Can a computer help?

You can now attach a small one to your skis and apparently it will help your racing skills. It's for the experts only though.
The device takes photographs of the angle of the ski as it goes over the snow allowing measurements to be taken with extreme accuracy.
There is an audio device that allows you to adjust your stance immediately if the ski is not at the required angle on the snow rather than looking at video feedback after the event.
The US ski team have used the device in training.
Jesse Hunt, US Ski Team Alpine Director, has said: "The ability to measure ski speed, among other components, at a given point while skiing provides a window into the subtleties of our sport," says the US Ski Team Alpine Director, Jesse Hunt.
