Tour de France in Portes du Soleil
Friday September 25, 2009 - Email this article to a friend
It's become an open secret that the cycle race will pass through Morzine and Avoriaz next summer.
We heard the rumour a few weeks ago and now it appears certain, though an official announcement will not be made until 14th October.
The 97th Tour de France runs from 3rd July to 25th July and is believed to be starting in Rotterdam.
The race is won and lost in the mountain sections and it is where the race gets some of the greatest attention.
This year PlanetSKI reported on it extensively as it passed though the Alps and we looked at what the financial impact is for the resorts that get The Tour.
The Portes du Soleil must be pretty pleased, if true of course!
