Tuesday January 10, 2017 - Email this article to a friend

Austria's Tirol has around 80 resorts to choose from, warm weather, quiet slopes and discounted prices in spring. Here's its top 5 resorts for 2017. NEW

With the conditions in the Alps looking up and with snow arriving, fingers crossed we can now relax and look at where to ski this year.

Here are the Tirol's top featured ski resorts for Spring 2017:

St Anton am Arlberg

The area has 340km of pistes and 200km of off-piste itineraries.

The new Flexenbahn lift between Stuben/Rauz and Zürs opened at the start of the season, creating Austria's largest interlinked ski area.

The Run of Fame is a new circuit that winds its way through the entire Arlberg ski area.

A week's stay at four-star Hotel-Garni Himmlhof in spring costs from £702pp, including breakfast. Transfers, other meals, ski pass and ski hire are extra.

For more information on St Anton am Arlberg, visit its site.

See here for Planetski's reporting when we visited St Anton at the start of the season and the new Flexenbahn lift.
