FAMILY EASTER SKIING
Thursday March 9, 2017 - Email this article to a friend

Think sunny days, long lunches, late spring snow that's been great in recent years, and the last opportunity of the season to ski. Where? Les Menuires NEW

Need more convincing?

School Easter holidays this year fall in the second and third weeks of April and the slopes are often quieter than the traditional family ski trip times of Christmas, New Year and February half term.

The days are also longer... More time for those long lunches and later afternoons skiing.

Les Menuires is part of Les3Vallées, one of the largest ski areas in the world. It also holds the Famille + accreditation and is an ideal resort for a family break.

Take a look at the resort here:

And it has more to offer besides the skiing.

The resort has entertainment from Speed Mountain - a roller coaster where you control your own speed - to spa facilities in the Ô Pure Spa.

PlanetSKI had the chance to stay in Reberty last season with Powder'n'Shine and we wrote about the ski holiday experience in the small village.

With wellbeing in mind the resort is hosting the premier Wellbeing Week from 1st - 8th April, 2017 in partnership with Pure Essential which includes a series of courses, treatments and classes aimed at promoting health and relaxation.

And then again, there's the long lunches...

Open until the 21st April, Les Menuires also has ski-in, ski-out satellite villages such as Reberty - that reaches to over 2,000m - and lifts from the centre to five peaks that go to 2,800m.
