British Airways will run two new ski routes next winter from Heathrow to Grenoble and Turin, and increase other ski services. NEW

The flights to Grenoble in France will run on Saturdays from 2nd December with prices starting at £39 each way.

Skiers will also be able to reach the Italian slopes via Turin with prices from £40 each way.

The airline already operates flights between Gatwick and the two airports during the winter season.

The new flights from Heathrow will take the number of weekly flights to Grenoble and Turin up to 18.

BA is also doubling its flights from Heathrow to Salzburg in Austria from two to four a week and laying on two additional weekly services to Innsbruck.

There will also be one extra flight a week to Zurich and more flights to Milan.
