The 27th edition of the FIS summer event will happen on 11-12 August in Courchevel with the world's best jumpers and 1000s watching.

The Grand Prix FIS Ski Jumping circuit goes on between July and October.

The top ski jumpers come from all over the world, this year to the Olympic jumps in Courchevel Le Praz.

The international event draws 10,000 spectators.

There will be entertainment for the many on-lookers, including aerobatic demonstrations.

Admission to the ski jumping site is FREE!

On both days there will be concerts, DJs playing and fireworks.

At 5pm on Friday and Saturday the French air force aircraft, the RAFALE, will give a display.

There will be helicopter maiden flights for visitors to take part in.

The world ski jumping record was set in 2011 when Poland's Kamil Stock jumped 137m.

The ski jumping site was built for the 1992 Olympic Games.

In June 10th 2017, Courchevel in Les3Vallees hosted the Red Bull 400.

The Olympic K120 ski jump is the steepest in the world.

The La Praz facilities include:

  • Five ski jumps: K10, K25, K60, K90 and K120
  • Ski lift system: one gondola for 18 people on the large ski jumping hill
  • Football stadium
  • A building with a fitness center gym, an apartment and 2 meeting rooms
  • Snow factory
  • Snow groomer with winch
  • 1,000 m2 sports hall providing top facilities for school children, clubs and top athletes
  • Wind tunnel
