The US ski legend is in the Swiss glacier resort training ahead of the start of the World Cup season next weekend.
He is now back in the US team after racing as independent. He fell out with the authorities in 2007 and set up his own team.
He made his announcement on re-joining the US team last month ahead of next winter's Olympic Games.
We reported on the news here on PlanetSKI.
The story contains some great video too.
October race training in Saas Fee"I'm really happy to be back on snow and skiing with the guys again," said Miller to US media. "This is the first time I've been to Saas-Fee and it's probably the best glacier I've ever been on in Europe. The surface is really hard, the terrain is great and I'm having fun."
Miller was in Austria earlier this week having his equipment fitted by his supplier, Head, and as well as race training on the Swiss glacier he will be fine-tuning his equipment.
The opening race of the season, in the Austrian resort of Soelden, has just been confirmed by FIS. See this related story.
PlanetSKI will be in Saas Fee next week to report on the early season conditions. We'll be keeping an eye open for Bode too!
12 months ago we made the short video below of what conditions are like at this time of year.
