Micro Machines, a comp for riders under 12 is on. All you need to do is submit film of your best tricks before 4th September. NEW

The Summer '17 Micro Machines is here.

It's the second edition of the competition for the youngest riders as part of Championship Ski and Snowboard (CSS).

A one-off contest, Micro Machines runs through the summer holidays for mini freestylers to get together video footage of their best trick on a rail or kicker.

CSS is set up by GB Park and Pipe and is an online video league launched last summer to bring the British freestyle snowsports community together.

Have a look at some impressive tricks by the youngest riders:

You can watch more footage from CSS - Micro Machines and  CSS League on Vimeo.

So, 4th September is the date to submit the videos by.

The tricks will be judged by CSS members and released in September.

Prizes, awards and respect are up for grabs.

"Last summer we were buzzing about the footage we got back for Micro Machines," CSS organiser Josie McNamara said.

"It was fantastic to see the amount of younger kids being a part of the UK indoor and artificial scene.

"We are now seeing those numbers grow and many of the kids who took part in last year's Micro Machines have now become key members of the main CSS league - even though they might only be as young as 7 years old!"

It's the summer holidays so there's plenty of time to practice and perfect that one trick.

The Micro Machines filming window opened on 12th July and runs until Monday 4th September.

Entrants must be born in 2005 or later.

The main CSS online video league continues with matches throughout the summer.

CSS is endorsed by GB Park & Pipe and supported through:

  • The Snowboard Asylum
  • Ellis Brigham
  • Delancey
  • The National Lottery
  • UK Sport
  • National governing bodies Snowsport England, Snowsport Scotland and Snowsport Wales.
