Katie Summerhayes has had her best World Cup result in four years. The GB Slopestyle skier tells PlanetSKI the Winter Olympics is coming at the right time.



The 2014 Sochi Olympian picked up the silver medal at the Ski Slopestyle World Cup in Stubai in Austria on 26th November.

It is the third time Summerhayes has finished second at a World Cup event but the first time she been on the podium since January 2014.

"It's been a tough couple of years, but I am so happy to have come back and that my skiing feels the best it has ever felt," said Summerhayes.

The 22-year-old thanked her coach, Pat Sharples and all at GB Park and Pipe for their support.
