The British snowboarder, Zoe Gillings, has had surgery on her damaged knee and is now back in training and looking forward to the new season ahead. She has admitted she was disappointed with her result in Vancouver.
Heather Mills trains for Winter Games
The ex-wife of Sir Paul McCartney is hoping to take part in the Paralympics in Sochi in 2014 and is now training in Austria. She has been out on the Mölltaler glacier.
British skier appointed to FIS
The Captain of the British telemark team, Andrew Clarke, has become the chair of the telemark committee. FIS is the governing body of world snowsports competition and it puts him in an influential position.
Sochi officials study snowmaking
Officials from the venue of the next Winter Olymics have visited Austria to look at an all-weather snow making system. They don't want a repeat of the problems experienced by one of the venues at the Vancouver Games.
