Water skiing world record

154 water skiers in Australia got up, 9 fell over but 145 managed the distance and were pulled for a nautical mile behind a single boat. It took place inside Macquarie Harbour in Strahan, Tasmania.

Glasgow goes for Youth Olympic Games

The city has told the British Olympic Association that it wans to be considered as a candidate city for the 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games. Glasgow hosts the Commonwealth Games in 2014.

FWT in Courmayeur
