Utah embraces snowsports

The US state has made skiing and snowboarding its official winter sports. Quiet what it actually means though is unclear.


Internet holiday bookings up

It is the preferred way to research and book a holiday according to a new survey. Just over 10% visit a travel agent, 14% book by phone while most of the rest are online.


What's in a name?

Four ski resorts in France have joined up to become the Lake Annecy Ski Resorts. In many ways it is just a marketing name but it has wider significance.


Ski operator collapses

It has been confirmed that Take Me Too (Ski) has collapsed. It was placed into administration on Tuesday 24th January. All people abroad will be brought back according to the Civil Aviation Authority. It specialised in holidays to France.
