The joys of learning to ski are perfectly captured in the video diaries of one active family taking a winter holiday in Les3Vallees. NEW
This was the first time the family had been on a VIP SKI holiday and, for the children, was the first time skiing.
During their stay in Courchevel the family filmed a video diary of the holiday.
Hear it straight from the family in their five-part mini series:
The kids take their first skiing lesson with Oxygene Ski School in Courchevel and give an initial review of their pad and hosts for the stay.
Quote of the day: “[We] abso-dootely loved it”
It’s a ‘so-far-so-good’ from Dad:
Quote of the day: “This is definitely the best holiday”
Skis have been swapped out for sledges;
The children have taken to the slopes as screams (of delight!) ripple through Courchevel.
In between all the activities of sledging, colouring, dancing and singing, the kids even find the time to make pizzas for lunch.
Quote of the day: “My throat is so sore… because we haven’t stopped laughing”
One happy skier: “It’s really cool. I like the bits where you go downhill…”
Watch out Winter Olympics 2030
The kids: “It’s sad because we’re going to leave tomorrow.”
Dad: “From the ski lesson to the boot fitting to the host service, everything has been 5 star.”
Mum: “If I had to sum up VIP SKI holidays, I would say excellent locations, fantastic food and incredible service!”
Quote of the day: “You do NOT go hungry. Yea, that’s for sure.”
If you’re planning a family ski holiday, perhaps for the fast approaching Easter break, then take a look at VIP’s advice:
“A family’s priority on holiday is making sure that the children are having fun,” says VIP SKI.
With sledging, endless hot chocolates (and snowballs to balance), husky dogs, ice caves and climbing walls, children can fall in love early on with snowy winter holidays.
So VIP SKI has built some special family packages to help out wheh planning, which you can check out here.
AND children travel half price:
Several of VIP SKI’s chalets have family rooms with bunk beds, sofa beds, or child single beds.
Children in these rooms are charged at half the adult price.
