The short break specialist, Ski Weekender, has a few places left. There will also be no Single Supplement over Xmas.
Have you already made your festive plans or are you still tempted to squeeze in a short ski break at the last minute?
If it’s the latter then maybe a short break is the answer.
Ski Weekender has trips over Xmas and the New Year.
Another leaves on Boxing Day and you can be back in the UK in time for New Year’s Eve.
The company offers holidays in a handful of selected resort in the Franch Alps.
See here for more details: Ski Weekender.
“We now have a limited number of rooms left for over the Christmas and New Year period, so why not let us do all the hard work whilst you get to enjoy great skiing, great food and great company in a fun and friendly environment,” said the MD of Ski Weekender, Paul Turnbull.
And here is what it currently looks like:
“There’s a good 30cm of fresh snow, albeit quite heavy, all across the mountain and there were some good ski touring conditions on Saturday,” said Paul on MOnday 2nd December.
“Then more sustained snow all through Sunday so the start of a good base accumulating above 1,500m.”
The company has a few incentives on offer too:
- No Single Supplement at Christmas.
- Free group ski lessons for Intermediate Skiers.
In partnership with the ESF Grand Bornand it is offering free group ski lessons for intermediate skiers staying at the Aravis Lodge on a 3-day Christmas Midweek break from Monday 23rd – Thursday 26th December 2019.
There will be three 2-hour sessions of free ski Lessons during your stay.
This Ski Weekender small group course will run from 13:00 to 15:00 each day (Tues – Thur) and is available to people who can already ski to a fair level (doing parallel turns on blue and red runs).
Exclusive to Ski Weekender guests, it is designed to give people a good technical brush-up and coaching session.
