An agency specialising in catered ski chalet holidays NEW

Judging by the reviews this travel agency has collected, we can expect that booking a ski trip with these guys will be as calm as the image drawn up by the company's name:

Alpenglow - those peaceful moments during a mountain dawn when the sun casts the snow pink.

Started in 2014, a small team of three plus a dog (always a good sign!) will organise your holiday, making choosing and booking it as easy and stress free as can be.

AlpenglowSave all the energy for this!

Alpenglow works with all the major operators, as well as all the all important small and independent ones, too.

They're not missing anything.

What gives these guys their edge?

Well, Steve and Matt are the ones that'll get your trip sorted and between them they have 10 full ski seasons down.

That's 10 spent in the mountains, so they know what's important, where to look depending on what you need and how to organise it best.

Their promise is they know what they're talking about, and first hand.

Another is that clients booking will always deal with the same member of staff from the initial phone call to returning from holiday.

No one gets palmed off to an after sales service so it's smooth sailing all the way: before, during, and after...

The major resorts Alpenglow works out of are:
  • Morzine
  • Val d'Isere
  • Meribel
  • St. Anton
  • Tignes
  • La Tania
Director Matt Simpson set up Alpenglow with his wife Emma after 15 years of working in the ski industry, both in the Alps and the UK.

Matt's favourite resort is Serre Chevalier.

We like him; it's also a PlanetSKI favourite

"First and foremost, the skiing is unbelievable," Matt says of the ski area.

"Especially for easily accessible off-piste skiing.

"The fact the resort is relatively uncrowded means fresh tracks are achievable even a few days after a snowfall."

Steve Church is Sales Consultant with four winters in Meribel under his belt.

He caught the snowboarding bug while on a year studying abroad in Chambery.

His favourite resort is Ischgl over in Austria.

"In many ways, the perfect resort. Amazing skiing for all abilities and great apres-ski."

REVIEWS - they tell it best:

Wow what a team!
Gave them a very tough brief first thing on a Monday morning for a short notice extended family holiday.
They listened to our requirements and found exactly what we were looking for within an hour (I had been searching for days and was almost resigned to not going on holiday).
Very friendly, knowledgeable professional service.
Well done will definitely use alpenglow again.

I've been booking ski holidays through various means for the last 20 years, I wouldn't go anywhere other than Alpenglow now.
Matt's knowledge is second to none; friendly, efficient, flexible and always able to offer inside tips that make the difference when you're in resort.
I couldn't recommend Alpenglow highly enough.

And this is just what they're going for: Providing a personal service to get you your ideal ski holiday.

Small scale for a quality service (and a quality ski trip!).
