Sounds sexy, right? And so it will be; a luxurious hotel coming to one of the most stylish resorts in the Alps next winter. NEW

'High-class medieval chic' - that's the design focus of Val d'Isere's newest luxury hotel.

With the experience, we imagine, a little more sumptuous than that of the Middle Ages.

So Mademoiselle Val d'Isere is to be a medieval-inspired 5*.

... to be, as it's not yet built.

The Mademoiselle castle will launch in December, right on time for Winter 2019/20.

For those who know Val d'Isere it will be in the Place de Neige in the heart of the resort.

Val d'Isere's newest superior 5-star evokes the architecture of Alpine homes of the past.

It's part of the luxury Airelles Collection.

The previous manager of the Palace Les Airelles in Courchevel, Aurelie Cruz, has actually come over to Val to run this new one.

There will be 41 keys.

It will include 11 suites and 5 private apartments, that come with a dedicated 24-hour butler at guests' service.

The hotel will feature a 1,200m2 Guerlain Spa with a swimming pool.

As well as the magical children's kingdom, a cozy ski lounge with direct access to the slopes, a gallery of shops with iconic brands, four restaurants and a sun terrace of 860m2.

Mademoiselle VI will sit at the edge of the slopes within the Vanoise massif at 1,850m.

It will be quite some picture.

At PlanetSKI we're excited to drop by and check out the interior in December.

We've heard of the ornately carved wooden staircase to be installed:

The multiple fireplaces, the beamed ceilings, the antique furniture and everything else rich and comfortable to come to this dream design of the woman who has set this all up, Séverine Pétilaire.

"[It will be] a place with a soul, where the clean lines of the Haute Epoque associated with contemporary materials forcefully reveal a surprising modernity," we're promised by Séverine.

Watch this space.
