If you are into backcountry adventures then this is a MUST. Learn new skiils and get fresh inspiration.

After three years of Edinburgh hosting The Winter Opener it is expanding to London to spread the skills, inspiration and community to get you ready for the coming ski season.

The event consists of backcountry workshops and an evening of films, talks and inspiration for adventure.

Some of the brightest and best in the UK snowsports community will be there to serve up an evening of inspiration, stories, photos and films.

"You will get the chance to meet up with friends old and new, sharpen up on your essential backcountry skills and dream about the cold and snowy winter ahead of us," said a statement from the organisers.
