Italian prosecutors are reported to have charged 10 current and former members of the Austrian Ski Federation following a drugs raid at the Turin Winter Olympics in 2006.

The President of the Federation, the biathlon sports director, former biathletes, the cross country coach and medial staff are amoung those that face charges.

During the games police raided the lodgings of the cross-country and biathlon teams and allegedly found a large quantity of doping equipment and products.

The International Olympic Committee has already fined Austria $1m and banned several athletes.

The Italian trial is set to start in October.
