Chemmy breaks ankle

Britain's No 1 ski racer is recovering in the UK but remains hopefull to be racing again in the New Year.

Chemmy Alcott broke her ankle in training in Canmore, Canada and is now recovering at home in Sussex. 

It's a big disappoinment after her good start to the season where she came 10th in Sölden, Austria in the opening race of the season.

"It's a clean brake so it should heal OK and I am trying to remain positive", she says.

The accident happend on the second day of training for the Giant Slalom last Sunday and she will miss all racing in November and December.
