The family ski specialist is to introduce baby and toddler weeks, extra offerings in certain chalet and holidays to Whistler. Winter is coming!

Esprit Ski is one of the most recognisable brands in the crowded family ski market.

This coming season its focus is on its new Baby and Toddler weeks - now, unsurprisingly, known as BAT weeks.

There will be the new Esprit BAT Club and special services for pre-school children.  And their parents.

See here for further details of the Baby And Toddler Weeks

The initiative will run in all resorts on weeks 11th,18th and 25th of January plus the 1st and 22nd of February

There will be special edition batty toys and gifts, and new 'BAT-Fun' activities for all the family to end the week.

It also comes in at a special price; there are BAT-Week savings of up to £479 per family, with free infant places and half-price Esprit Child Care during these weeks.

As an example the Chalet Monte Bianco in Les Arcs is on offer for just £415pp for the week commencing 11 January 2015.

The nearest ski lift is 100m away and guests can also freely use the residence's indoor swimming pool and sauna.

This price is based on a family of 4 @ £1,660 (2 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 6 months) and includes return flights from Southampton to Geneva, transfers, dedicated Esprit Nursery care,  children's exclusive 'introduction-to-ski' classes & activity clubs and free wifi.

7-nights chalet catered accommodation with a cooked breakfast, afternoon tea, children's high tea and 4-course dinners with complimentary wine.

Also new for next season from esprit Ski are 'Xtra Chalets'.

Two of its Austrian chalets, the Pepi Gabl in St Anton and the Alpenblume in Obergurgl, have each undergone extensive upgrades, to enhance their family-friendly credentials still further.

So what are the Xtra' elements these chalets now offer?

There is a full-service residents-only bar, an extended afternoon tea buffet, and a cheese-course to round off dinner.

Chalet Pepi Gabl is on offer from £399. Located just 50m metres from the Nasserien gondola and 5 minutes' walk from the town centre.

At Christmas, departing 21 December, a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children aged 4 & 7) are priced at £812pp (family price of £3,248) including return flights from Gatwick to Innsbruck, transfers, free wifi, sauna and wellness area and  free babysitting.

There is 7-nights catered chalet accommodation with a cooked breakfast, afternoon tea, children's high tea and 5-course dinners with complimentary wine.

The third new initiative is the introduction of the Canadian resort of Whistler.

It is the most popular resort in North America with British skiers and snowboarders.

It is aimed at families with children who can already ski, and have outgrown Esprit's child care services.

These holidays are focused on the school holiday dates at Christmas, New Year, half-term and Easter, and are featured in a dedicated separate mini-brochure, without Esprit's normal child care services attached.

Esprit Ski has re-shaped its Resort Reps' service to suit a family ski holiday in Canada.

If children book Whistler's excellent ski-school either in advance or locally, Esprit staff will provide a take and collect pick-up service from your hotel to the ski school .

A supervised lunch is available with children's ski lessons, so that parents can take off for a full day's skiing without worrying about getting back.

Whistler has a host of activiites on offer including a seven-lane Tubing Park with a dedicated children's lane.

There is a free weekly Fire & Ice Show, with spectacular fireworks and skiing stunts and jumps as a prelude to dinner out.

Twice a week there's a free 'Family Après' programme on the central Olympic Plaza, with live music, activities & entertainment from 4.30-6.30pm.

The Esprit Reps also offer two evenings per week where they will take the youngsters from 6.00-10.00pm for some child-friendly après-ski and a meal.

It allows parents the chance to experience some of the resort's many lively bars and saloons, and a quiet dinner for two.

A  favourite is the 'Climb & Dine at The Core' event - a special indoor climbing night for children, with a qualified instructor, all safety equipment and accompanied  by an Esprit Ski Rep.

Esprit Ski has a week in a family apartment in the Hotel Coast Blackcomb at Easter for £1,190 per person, departing 21 March 2015, based on a family of four @ £4,760 (2 adults and 2 children aged10 and 8).

It includes flights from Heathrow to Vancouver, transfers to resorts and 7 nights bed and breakfast in the Hotel Coast Blackomb.

It is a ski-in ski-out lodge-style hotel with its own outdoor heated pool located on the slopes of Blackcomb Mountain in the Upper Village area of Whistler.
