Wow!
Thursday December 4, 2008 - Email this article to a friend

We went to the bar for some drinks last night in Verbier and this is what we saw when we stumbled out. Shed loads of snow.

We had plans at PlanetSKI to write our main story all about the snow across the Alps, but on second thoughts we reckon it's best just to show you some pictures of where we are. The Swiss Alps.

Below are a few pictures from last night and some of the skiing today. You can read the story about how the ski industry is breathing a collective sigh of relief here.

But below are the pictures.

Apparently each one is worth 1,000 words, or so the cliche goes.

December has never looked so good and we are not reporting it from looking at web cam images of the weather fronts or snow depths sent in by the resorts while sitting in an offfice in the UK.

We are here, experiencing it and hopefully bringing you a feeling of what it's like. Awesome.

And this is what looked like out of the office window first thing this morning.

Then the afternoon on skis.......
