Thursday February 4, 2016 - Email this article to a friend

The Verbier Impulse music festival takes place over two weekends in April.

Texas, 77 Bombay Street and Stephanie Heinzman are amoung the acts that will perform on the dates of April 8th, 9th,10th and April 15th, 16th and 17th.

Officials say there will be another major act - the local rumour is that it may be James Blunt who has a chalet in the resort and has already played in ski resorts.

Last winter he performed at the opening concert in Ischgl.

The musical event was tested last season during the long-running Verbier High Fives event.

It has been deemed a success.

The main stage will be below the Chalet Carlsberg on the slope from Attelas down to Les Ruinettes as 2,500m.

5,000 people are expected to attend.
